The Victoria premiere of a unique photography exhibit from the Great Bear Rainforest culminated with a gala evening of music, silent auction and an opportunity to meet the photographers.
Produced by National Geographic and other internationally acclaimed photographers such as Thomas Peschak, Daniel Beltra, Cristina Mittermeier, Garth Lenz and Ian McAllister, the exhibit highlights current threats and conservation issues in the Great Bear Rainforest.

The Great Bear WILD exhibit illustrates the cultures, communities, ecosystems and livelihoods at risk from the threat of oil spills if the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline and tankers project goes ahead.

The exhibit is a result of a collaboration between Sierra Club BC, Pacific Wild and the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP). Hosted in the vibrant atmosphere of the Canoe Brewpub, these stunning images will be displayed until JANUARY 15, 2013.
